All Thai’d Up at the Marriott

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - One may have to travel the world to experience international cuisine. But better to simply embark on a culinary journey at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel's Garden Café.

This March and April, the aromatic flavors of authentic Thai cooking fill the cozy place as Executive Chef Chachpol Suaisom, together with task force restaurant manager Tuk Pirakarn of Marriott Courtyard Bangkok and task force Chef de partie Wipa Chatwattanasakul of Renaissance Bangkok, whips up a Thai feast highlighting distinct elements of Southeast Asian culinary traditions.

A harmonious blend of sweet, spicy and savory flavors and complex components are beautifully balanced in every meal. This unique cuisine will surely leave the diner with a lasting impression. Get Thai'd up from Tuesday to Thursday evenings, 6:00-10:30 p.m.

Friday nights present an abundant supply of fresh seafood like sashimi, lobsters, and live crabs cooked to one's liking. The "Friday Night Seafood Buffet" is a selection of starters, hot items, mains, cheese station, crepe station and homemade desserts. On Saturday nights, there's the "Prime Rib Buffet" with slow-cooked U.S. Prime Rib of beef and the famous Lechon de Cebu on the side.

Sunday lunch has a sumptuous line-up of all-time favorite dishes and a carving of Roast Beef.

Indulging is not limited to the weekends, as the Garden Café offers "Don't Tell the Chef" every Sunday and Monday night. For the month of March and April, the offering features Thai cuisine in live interactive food stations for a fresh dining experience.
