Of Veils and Trails – A Wedding Fair at Shangri-la Mactan

Love stories are about to turn into dream weddings with Of Veils and Trails, a wedding fair highlighting creations from some of the country's top wedding fashion designers. Slated to take place on March 29 at Shangri-La's Mactan Resort & Spa, the event showcases elegant pieces by Jun Escario, Mary Ty, Albert Arriba, Edwin Ao, Myrna Cebrecus, Protacio Empaces, Arcy Gayatin, Oj Hoffer, William Manahan, Yvonne Quisumbing, Philip Tampus, Marichu Tan and Philip Rodriguez.

Of Veils and Trails will start with guided tours around the resort's most sought-after wedding venues such as the Swarovski- detailed Mactan Ballroom, the ivory draped The Marquee, the glass-enclosed Ocean Pavilion, the scenic Ocean Terraces and the pristine beachfront. To make the journey even more romantic, enticing culinary exhibits are set up at each stop for the couples to sample tasty nibbles selected from the resort's wedding menus. A visit to the deluxe Bridal Suite with its panoramic view of the Mactan Channel's cerulean waters is also featured.

The fair is to be capped with a 60-minute confab at The Marquee, where couples are given the chance to interact with Cebu's top wedding specialists, and consult with the city's finest florists, hair-and-makeup stylists, pastry artists, decor providers, printers, photographers, videographers, and lights and sound suppliers.
