Carmen Copper ladies distribute bundles of joy to indigent families

CEBU, Philippines - More than 1,300 families received bundles of joy from the Carmen Copper Ladies Association Inc. (CCLAi) during a gift giving activity last December.

CCLAi, a group of all female members and wives of managerial employees of Carmen Copper Corp. (Carmen Copper), distributed grocery packs and assorted toys for the children to underprivileged residents of Carmen Copper’s host and neighboring barangays of Biga, Bagakay, Loay, Don Andres Soriano, and Sitio Pandong Bato, Media Once in Toledo City.

CCLAi’s gift giving activity, dubbed as "Pamaskong Handog ng CCLAi" held last December 23-24 was funded by the proceeds from the CCLAi’s concert-for-a-cause featuring Bamboo held at the Carmen Copper Recreation Center. Part of the proceeds of the concert will also go to Yolanda survivors. (FREEMAN)
