Cebu Garden Club's Project Turnover Rites

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Garden Club project—landscaping the center island at Benedicto Street, North Reclamation Area—in partnership with the Cebu City Government through the Parks and Playgrounds Commission had its turnover ceremony to the city government. During the rites, the city was represented by Vice Mayor Edgar Labella who, along with Cebu Garden Club President Linda To, cut the ceremonial ribbon. The ceremonial rite was attended by officers and members of the Garden Club.

The planting of various flowering plants along Benedicto Street has actually enhanced the beauty of the place, and it is the desire of the Cebu Garden Club officers and members to beautify more islands and streets of the City of Cebu.

During the Zonta Club I's Legends of Men, Jupiter or Zeus' overwhelming presence was given personifying depth by the strong personality and stentorian singing voice of Dr. Warfe Engracia, uprooted from his "Olympian" abode (Rajah Tupas clinic) at E-Mall, where a daily long cue of mortals await his "healing" power.
