USC bags 1st place in 2nd COMEPP Regional Quiz Bee
CEBU, Philippines - The University of San Carlos (USC) Business Administration team outwitted other participating schools in the region during the 2nd COMEPP Regional Quiz Bee held at the J. Centre Convention Hall.
COMEPP stands for Council of Management Educators and Practitioners of the Philippines. The contest recognizes the level of the faculty's efforts shown through the students' participation.
The competition was a close fight among six schools — USC, Benedicto College, Mandaue City College, University of Cebu — Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue Campus, University of San Jose - Recoletos and University of the Visayas.
USC won first place with 195 points followed by USJ-R in second place and UV in third place.
The USC team is composed of 5 students from the Department of Business Administration namely Evelyn Bensi, Lars Raphael Lammerskotter, Kenyashi Huang, Jhaine Lyka Villa and Janine Alino, who were coached by Ms. April Joan Bagano and Mr. Angelo Burdeos. (FREEMAN)
