Fashion illustrations exhibit launch and fashion show

CEBU, Philippines - Zee Lifestyle and Samsung threw a special homecoming celebration for the iconic fashion designer Reynaldo F. Santos, who has been operating his own atelier in New York for more than 20 years. With his return to his hometown, the fashion crowd gathered together to celebrate his return and his career which was held at 856G Gallery.

A series of Rey's sketches and designs were on display and for sale, providing a retrospective view of the designer's work throughout the years. Samsung HDTVs were placed throughout the venue, presenting a special video presentation of Rey's career over the years, including his features in magazines that were premier titles at the time. In between presentations, guests were invited to check out the TV's innovative features-such as taking photos of themselves on its front camera and testing out the smart interaction's gesture control.

Later on, a special fashion show was held on the Schiaparelli-pink runway, featuring a ten-piece collection that Rey created especially for the occasion. The pieces highlighted his flair for dramatic dressing and attention for details, beautifully set against the New York-inspired video presentation playing on the Samsung HDTVs. (FREEMAN)
