The Fuzion is Here!

CEBU, Philippines - It’s finally here in Cebu, a thousand flavors in one place, the Fuzion Gourmet.    It is situated right at the heart of Cebu City at Mango Square Mall, Gen. Maxilom Avenue.    The restaurant’s original concept and idea are being realized by the owner Divina Veloso-Couvreaux, whose roots come from Leyte.    She has traveled to different parts of the world and settled in Europe particularly in Paris, France, where she developed her love and passion for cooking. 

She became known for her  food innovations and later on became an in demand consultant in several gourmets here and abroad.    After several years of helping develop the gourmet industry here in the Philippines, Ms. Divina Veloso then decided to put up her own café, deli and restaurant .

Fuzion Gourmet opened its doors to the public last July 20 when they had their soft opening.    They were able to bring in customers both from the local and foreign communities.    It’s cozy and original restaurant design, from the ceiling to the customized tables and chairs, makes the restaurant totally different.    When you step in to Fuzion Gourmet, it’s like stepping into a Mediterranean atmosphere which will make you feel relaxed.

The Fuzion Gourmet has a wide array of good food from different countries at a very affordable price.    It has a wide  selection of pastas, cakes, deli products such as Hungarian sausages, different kinds of  ham  and cheeses from    all over the world, not to mention locally produced cheeses from Davao.    It also has a wide array of imported wines.   

At Fuzion Gourmet, you can already have a full meal starting at P100 which already includes drinks. Fuzion Gourmet also serves coffee, wrap sandwiches from different parts of the world, assorted fresh raviolis and specialties from France.      Students from schools nearby are fond of  house specialties such as the crispy chicken, baby back ribs and pork barbeque meal.    Foreign customers often opt to buy deli products, sandwiches, burgers and meals, such as the Chicken Tajine, Seared Tuna, Fuzion Burger, Roma Burger,    Grilled Lamb  Chops, Turkey Fillet, Seabass, and Bacalao Ragout,    just to name a few.    The restaurant also specializes in different kinds of green salads, such as the Greek Salad, Nicoise Salad, Pasta and Smoked Salmon Salad. It also has very delicious and affordable cakes to choose from.

Aside from the restaurant in Mango Square Mall, Fuzion Gourmet has extended its doors to a more relaxing place in Alta Vista (Pardo Cebu City).    Fuzion Gourmet also caters to team buildings, business functions, parties, weddings and birthday receptions    at its very own private luxurious place overlooking the city.    It is an extension of what the restaurant could offer: good food and a wonderful ambiance.
