The Kapsule consists of economically designed rooms that are called "capsules".  The first hotel to apply the technology was the Capsule Inn Osaka, which was opened in 1979 in the Umeda district of Japan.

As part of its product improvement program, Kabayan Hotel Pasay has launched the Kapsule to offer a wider range of choices to its valued guests. The Kapsule is an upgrade of the DORM room type, which Kabayan Hotel Pasay currently offers. The Kapsule rooms contain "capsules" that are stacked side by side on two levels to maximize the use of space. A Kapsule room may contain from four to ten "capsules" each room. Kabayan Hotel Pasay offers five Kapsule rooms with a total of 42 "capsules".

The Kapsule is clean, safe and secure, not to mention very economic in terms of usage of space and price. They are so spacious a guest can sit up and work on their laptop or their documents. Each Kapsule is provided with a personal lamp and personal belongings can also be safely stored in a private locker provided with each Kapsule.
