•             Eau de Perfume’s notes are magnified once subjected to heat, so this is perfect for summer.  With nearly 10-20 percent of aromatic compounds, this is stronger than common types of scents saved for extrait de perfume.  Eau de perfume will cling to you for five hours maximum.

•             Eau de Toilette may not be the scent of choice if you’re up for something strong and long lasting as this type of fragrance only lasts for a maximum of four hours before completely fading away.  With only 7-12 percent of aromatic compounds, many experts consider this a weaker type of fragrance.

•             Eau de Cologne is perhaps one of the most popular types of fragrances especially for those looking for a fresher, lighter scent for the hot summer months.  With only a 3-7 percent concentration of aromatic compounds, this type of fragrance will see you through until three hours from application, so make sure you’re armed and ready with an extra bottle for reapplication.
