SKYcable’s new Genre-Based: Channel Lineup and 6 new HD Channels

CEBU, Philippines - As an extended service highlight offered to Cebuano subscribers, SKYcable recently implemented the country's first genre-based channel grouping system, along with the addition of 6 new HD channels to its featured full-HD channel options roster.

Dubbed the "Organized Channels (O.C.) For You" campaign, SKY's new genre-based grouping system was developed to help SKYcable subscribers easily remember channels based on their respective genres, grouping free-to-air channels in Channels 1 to 99, child-friendly channels in Channels 101 to 199, and educational channels within the 200s channel lineup.

Sports channels can now be found in Channels 301 to 399 in the new "OC For You" grouping, movie channels in Channels 400 to 499, news channels in Channels 501 to 599, and entertainment-centered channels in Channels 601 to 699.

Also, international channels are now grouped in Channels 801 to 899 in the new lineup, as religious channels can now be found in Channels 900 to 999.

Now with a total of 22 HD Channels, owners of true 1080p High Definition TVs can experience the crystal clear clarity of full-HD resolutions, grouped in Channels 701 to 799 in the "OC For You" campaign's genre-based grouping system.
