Paso Canta Sayaw: A Show for a Cause

CEBU, Philippines - "The event is about raising awareness, and really the only way to reach out to our generation is through music, fashion and dance," announced Dr. Marilou Viray, Vice President of the Philippine College of Surgeons Cebu Chapter, who heads the show for a cause Paso Canta Sayaw, along with Dr. Ron del Mar, Dr. Steve Rama. Dr. Axel Elises, Dr. Jose Rizalito Catipay, Dr. Henry Chua and its President Dr. Stephen Bullo, unveiling on November 22, 2012, 7 in the evening at the Cebu Grand Convention Center.

The Philippine College of Surgeons (P.C.S.), known for their charitable hearts in organizing life saving surgical missions throughout the country, is expanding in more ways imaginable. Countless missions renewed and saved countless lives in the P.C.S.’s indomitable drive to extend help to those who need it badly. In fact, they are dubbed as the Philippines' answer to Medicins Sans Frontiers or Doctors Without Borders and they too are an independent organization for medical, specifically surgical, humanitarian aid to poor families--- men, women and children.

"We want the show to be the type of thing we get excited about. We want the whole night to have a narrative almost like a story or a movie is playing out yet with a smooth transition from each part to the next. The idea of having various beauty queens and celebrities interact with other performers like doctors and their sons and daughters, is something we all got excited about. We want to make it interactive and playful. Kind of like a modern-day variety show," explained Dr. Ron del Mar with clarity and dedication! Thus apart from the beauty queens c/o Wendell Quisido, there will also be DanceSport performers, doctors who are gifted with musicality and former models who have become doctors, plus the participation of children performers to capture your heart and soul.
