Fashion Blog Inspiration

 CEBU, Philippines - Fashion is shifting faster than ever lately, going from one to the next in the blink of an eye. Fortunately for us, we are blessed with an almost constant sunny calendar so we don't have to keep up with seasonal fashions though that hasn't stopped us from wanting to keep up to date on the whats, whos and wears.

I find that fashion blogs are the easiest way to keep up with the latest trends on the runway. It's also one of the best ways to find out how to wear that tricky new style that can leave the rest of us flummoxed at first (high-waisted shorts, I'm looking at you). The web is packed with thousands of international fashion bloggers who have moved on to becoming household names in fashion - one great example is our very own Filipino fashion blogger Bryan Boy of www.bryanboy.com who has gone on to anchoring himself a place on the judges panel for the TV show America's Next Top Model. In the local scene, our own fashionistas are more than happy to keep up with the trend and have made their own blogs dedicated to fashion and lifestyle.

Though there are tons of amazing fashion blogs on the internet today, it would take us forever to list all of them down.  To serve as some fashion inspiration for you, here are some of our favorite Cebuano/Cebuana fashion bloggers:

1.www.raleene.com – A talented Cebuana beauty, Raleene Cabrera is currently making waves in the Manila scene with her edgy fashion-forward style. When she isn't  wowing us with fashion posts on her blog (which coincidentally is more than just fashion, it's practically a lifestyle blog, as well)  she also works as an interior design director of INCA Plastics, as well as a vocalist alongside her sister in their band, the Walkie Talkies.

2. www.kryzuy.com – Everyone nowadays has a slash added to their working title, but nobody does it better or more stylishly than Kryz Uy. Blogger, stylist, writer, model, creative director - these are just a few titles that she fits into her busy schedule. Check out her website for her stylish ways as she mixes designer labels and high street fashion.

3. www. yvestyle.blogspot. com – Fresh from his stint on Project Runway Philippines, Yves is back to blogging about fashion with a passion. Check out this designer/stylist's lifestyle and fashion blog for his bold, playful  yet functional styles.

4.              www.iamalexa. biz – Alexa, one of the fresh new bloggers on the block manages to deliver different fashionable looks, from classic and preppy to boho-chic and vintage – all with the same polished flair that ties all her outfits together.  (FREEMAN)
