CEBU, Philippines - DC recently put on yet another spine-tingling tourney at the metro, this time, not in the form of skateboards but rather via an Xbox 360 racing game (dirt racing and drifting at that) which is the DiRT Game.
Dubbed as the DiRT Showdown Asian Tournament, the video game competition is in search for Asia's ultimate Gymkhana video game racer. The event had two legs, in Manila (Ayala Trinoma) and here in Cebu (Ayala Active Zone) earlier this month. Hats off to our very own John Kelvin Carlin III, who clocked at 3 minutes, 58 seconds and 57 milliseconds, for besting the Manila leg winner who finished at 4:6:42. He will fly to Singapore later this year, for an all-expense paid trip, to represent PI for the 1st DiRT Showdown Asian Championships. Break a leg!
The DiRT Showdown Asian Tournament is organized by DC, in conjunction with EpicSoft and CodeMasters, Monster Energy Drink and Samsung.
