RCCF 31st Annual induction & Turnover ceremonies

The Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente recently had it's 31st Annual Induction and Turnover Ceremonies at the Teatro Casino of the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.

The young and energetic Rotary Club International District Governor Peter "Perok" Rodriguez had the honor to induct the newly-elected officers: Tina C. Bacalso, President; Maricel B. Amores, Vice president; Jane P.Frias, Secretary; Teresa Stella M. Gonzalez, Assistant Secretary; Ivy D. Dumanacal, Treasurer; Dave B. Karamihan, Sgt. At Arms.

The following Directors were also inducted into office: Teenie G. Go, Club Admin,; Sol A. Apaion, Club Membership; Me'anne A. Solomon, Public Relations; Blonx N. Tirol, community Service; Jesse V. Baring, Vocational Service; Pao R. Mendoza, New Generation; Yumi P. Espina, International Service and Dinna B. Ramos, IPP/RCCF.

This year's Advisers are: Senior Assistant Governor Rady M. Abarintos, Dick G. Barba;Manny C. Calalang; Jojo L. Gonzalez and JunL. Torres.

Guests during the event included some distinguished Rotary District Officers, Club Presidents and Secretaries, Sister-Clubs: Rotary Club of Makati Paseo de Roxas, Rotary club of Midtoen Tarlac, Rotary Club of Ormoc and Rotary Club of Tagbilaran, Rotaracrors, partners-in-service, friends and family.

President Tina Bacalso happens to be the second lady president of the club's 31st history with Me'anne Alcordo Solomon as the first lady club president in 2001-20112.

Othe highlights of the night was the signing of Memorandum of Agreement with the Hand Crafters of Mary Enterprise (H.O.M.E) for the Ragdoll Livelihood project; the awarding of the Rotary Year 2011-2012's Rotaractor of the Year to Sherlaine Campungan; Most Outstanding Past President to Richard Barba; Most Outstanding Officer to Reuben Frias, Most Outstanding Director to Mary Christine G. Tio and most especially the awarding of Governor Gwen Garcia 3 awards: Partner-In-Service, Distinguished Honorary Award and Woman of the Year.

The induction signaled the beginning of a new Rotary Year with the theme: "PEACE THROUGH SERVICE" under Rotary International President Sakuji Tanaka. Congratulations and more power!
