Santacruzan 2012

The month of May flowers for the Blessed Virgin Mary, Flores de Mayo, and also Santacruzan 2012, the ritual re-enactment of the finding of the cross of Christ by St. Helena, give young girls and society matrons the occasion to don beautiful gowns.

The Quota International of Cebu celebrated its annual Santacruzan 2012 fund-raising for the club for projects for the hearing and speech impaired care center (Sawang Calero), in Guba and disadvantaged women and children.

The Santacruzan 2012 started with a Mass and followed by a procession to Ayala Terraces where the coronation ceremony took place after the offering of flowers to Mama Mary. This year's chairperson is the very hardworking Ma. Luisa Veloso. Congratulations!
