MATRIX introduces first ever Filipina endorser

CEBU, Philippines - The perfect Asian hair – this is the promise of Matrix in its visit to Cebu recently where they introduced their newest and first-ever Filipina endorser, Bianca Manalo.

Since it was first introduced in the Philippines seven years ago, Matrix has constantly been making a lot of efforts to bring the product closer to the Filipinos, said Matrix Product Manager Wilmer Ko. He said that since 2005, they have gotten rave and excellent response from the Philippine market and they wanted to give back to their customers by bringing in an endorser who the Filipinos can relate to when it comes to caring for their Asian hair.

"Bianca is the perfect endorser," added Ko who said that Asians mostly have dark and long hair, like their newest endorser. But it has been noted that Asians love coloring their hair too, mostly wanting to make it brown like their skin complexion.

However, not all the hair products are good for Asian hair so Matrix Philippines has gone through a lot of product studies in order to give the best results at the same time protect the hair from harmful elements. "There can be no mistake with Matrix."

Bianca said that she immediately agreed when they offered her to be an endorser because she trusts the brand. Bianca currently has the Wonder brown Mocha7 color on her hair, added with the wonder light. She said that when Asians color their hair with just any product, an expected result would be brittleness and damage to the hair. But with Matrix, she is more than pleased with the results and it has even made her hair more healthy. Plus even during the application process where other products would cause itchiness or pain in the scalp, with Matrix she barely felt it.

Matrix, which is part of L'oreal, also makes sure that aside from sharing their products, they would also help boost the quality of the hairdressing industry in the country.

Matrix' Mobile Salon is always on the go for education potential. Interested hairdressers can be up to date in everything in the industry and would soon be internationally recognized.

As they go around the country to introduce their newest endorser, Matrix has also organized a competition to test hairdressers nationwide. The winner would be sent to the Best of Asia competition in May 2013.
