Sil & Raddie's 50th Wedding Anniversary

CEBU, Philippines - Silvestre “Sil” Calomarde and Radigunda “Raddie” Calomarde renewed their marriage vows after living together and loving each other for 50 long years. And yes…with five wonderful children - Joy, Jed, Jef, Jen and Melanie. Renewal of vows was at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral with Rev. Fr. Dave Villaceran officiating the rites.

The golden friends who stood as witnesses were: Consul Enrique Benedicto and Ms. Aida Uy; Mr. Victor Dumon and Mrs. Leny Dumon; Atty. Manuel Go and Mrs. Milagros Ecarma; Mr. Alberto Herrera and Mrs. Herminia Herrera; Mr. Emmanuel Lebumfacil and Mrs. Ma. Nimfa Escario; Atty. Adelino Sitoy and Mrs. Marylou Astete.

Composing the secondary sponsors were the children and grandchildren of Sil and Raddie. Maid of honor – Jen Elizabeth C. Siarot and Joy C. Formento; Best men – Jed G. and Jef G. Calomarde; Bridesmaids: Christine Arra, Sydnie Jane, Bianca Marie, Therese Claire, Kathreen Claire, Leah Eloisa, Louise Arnie; Groomsmen: Francis Anthony, James Michael, Jon Dominic, Dan Christian, Melvin Belli, John Vincent and Adam Shawneil. Junior Bridesmaids – Catherine Marie and Kirsten Dawn; Bible bearer – Philip Anthony; Coin Bearer – Joshua Matther; Ring bearer – Kelvin Silvestre; Candle – Moises Canete and Didith Calomarde; Veil – Arden Siarot and Loryve Calomarde; Cord – Francis Anthony and Melanie Calomarde.

Immediately after the church rites, a reception followed at the Grand Ballroom of Holiday Plaza Hotel where the children and grandchildren of the golden couple presented a nice musicale while the golden friends, (especially dear friend Consul Jaime Picornell) paid tribute to Sil and Raddie who are now based in Glendale, California.
