Earth hour at Crimson resort and Spa

CEBU, Philippines - Candles in the sand and lanterns in the sky gave light to Crimson resort and spa last March 31 as they joined in on the world in celebrating the momentous Earth Hour. 

Aside from conservation of energy, Crimson partnered with Ocean Care Advocates Inc. in giving back to Mother Earth as they put up a pledge tree where guests were able to write down their own pledges to help save mother earth along with any amount as donation. Crimson also had a silent bid where a luxurious package stay at the resort was at stake for the highest bidder. All the proceeds of the activity went to Ocean Care and would be used to plant and preserve more mangrove trees.  (FREEMAN)
