Shopwise Cebu Lives Up To The Hype

CEBU, Philippines - When the biggest and the most anticipated preview of the year introduced a fun-filled shopping experience at the exclusive launch of Shopwise by Rustan Supercenters, it was not surprising that the reception was more than grandiose. Cebu’s personalities and members of the media flocked from all points of the city to get a first look at the 10th Shopwise branch along N. Bacalso Avenue. 

A lavish unveiling took place; in attendance to pull the ceremonial rope that would allow for a cascade of balloons to show Shopwise’s inner sanctum were Cebu First District Congressman Eduardo Gullas and Mrs. Norma Gullas, Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, Andrew Aznar, reigning Miss Cebu 2012 Pierre Anther Infante, Mutya Ng Pilipinas 2nd Runner –up Sharon Angel, Rustan Supercenters, Inc. COO Patrick Simon, Nena Tantoco and Rustan Supercenters, Inc. President Bienvenido “Donnie” Tantoco III. 

Guests delighted in the live performance of singer, actress, model and TV personality Nikki Gil, while they grooved with Billy Crawford’s fancy foot-work and vocal styling. The night’s festivities were made even more pleasurable with a sumptuous selection of food and cocktails. Those in attendance received Shopwise Elite WiseCards for rebates, freebies and exclusive offers.
