Sledgers reopens with cocktails and men in business suits

CEBU, Philippines - Primer Group of Companies, Sledgers’s exclusive local distributor and operator, held a cocktail event to launch the brand’s renewed store at SM City Cebu last February 3 at SM Northwing. Gathering Cebu’s finest businessmen, personalities and media representatives, it also highlighted Sledgers’s Spring-Summer 2012 collection through a fashion show.

As impressive as each of their shoe is, the new Sledgers store is made to make an impact on the sophisticated male crowd. Incorporating new designs and modules from the brand’s international stores in France; black, silver and white paint the whole space with exquisite taste while wood details add a soft comfortable air. As Sledgers’s flagship store in the Philippines, it is the biggest of its three stores in the country.

Since it was founded in France in 1921, the brand has been offering comfortable shoes that do not sacrifice style, a representation of their tagline “French Style and Comfort”. Each shoe is integrated with technology to ensure high-grade comfort, easing the effects of hours using the feet. Sledgers’s shoes come in a variety of styles, from the classic round-end to the modern pointed-end, and in between are mixes of both. Accessories are also present in their display racks: leather wallets, belts, key, cards and passport holders. Seeing the need to care for such premium items, the brand created their own shoe care products: shoe polishes, leather moisturizers and horse hair brushes.
