It was a beautiful evening when Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino Mactan welcomed Christmas with the theme “Under the Sea.” Some huge decorated shells and sea ornaments surrounded three giant Christmas trees sparkled in blue and green. Lapu-Lapu City Councilor Queenie Ammann, GM Mactan International Airport Authority Engr. Nigel Paul Villarete and Hotel Manager Hembler Mendoza switched on the lighs of the Christmas tree. The children wore their under the sea attire. The guests enjoyed beautiful Christmas songs of the Marigondon Children Chamber String Orchestra. Tsinelas Association, beneficiaries of the hotel, was represented by Yowee Gonzales. The organization received a box containing school supplies and items donated by the employees. Highlight was the awarding of winners for the costume contest won by boy jellyfish and girl fabulous sea creature attire. The children were under the care of Home Care Center for Children, Lapu-Laput City. The party was hosted by the employees, headed by GM Hembler Mendoza.
