Cloth vs Disposable

Modern cloth diapers that are sold in today’s market are just as easy to use as disposables, but for several reasons, we always opt for one or the other. Which one would you really choose?

Reasons to choose cloth:

1. It is absolutely more economical and environment-friendly in comparison to disposables. Imagine the cost it incurs and the trail of waste and pollution from manufacturing it creates?

2. Just like the underwear we have on, we use cloth, not the uncomfortable paper or plastic you find on baby’s diapers. This is where some parents forget to consider comfort. 3. Cloth diapers get better with age, the more you wash them, the most absorbent it becomes.

4. It is made of cushy, breathable fabrics like velour, micro-fleece and cotton knits that surround your baby with softness. This allows more airflow inside the diaper and helps keep your baby cooler, as well.

5. Many cloth diapers have a moisture-wicking inner fabric that provides a dry feeling.

6. Cloth diapers don’t have the plastic which disposable diapers do, one that rubs against your baby’s skin giving them rashes. They also don’t contain added chemicals.         7. Yes, disposable diapers are being advertised a lot, note that their products have a “cloth-like” layer, the same one used in cloth diapers. It also gives your baby the more traditional look.
