In every cherished love, a true and happy ending is always aspired, and usually it ends up with the ringing of church bells as both lovers vow to love each other under the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony. Christopher John Consunji and Charmaine Therese Juanillo were married in a fashionable afternoon wedding held at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. The bride is the lovely daughter of Dr. Manuel R. Juanillo and Teresita Juanillo while the groom is the son of Engr. Jonathan O. Consunji and Rosalinda A. Du. Reception was held at the ballroom of Casino Español de Cebu.

Recently, the officers and board of directors of Young Ladies Association of Charity, Inc. held a formal induction of officers and directors at the Cebu Cathedral. Msgr. Roberto Alesna was the inducting officer. Inducted into office were Josephine D. Abuena, president; Loretta Calderon, vice president; Josefina Baga, secretary; Ester Valencia, treasurer; Emma Casals, PRO; and the board of directors were Teresita Antigua, Virginia Reldan, Luz Sandiego, Florentina Murillo, Lety Canoy, Emeline Agruda, Corazon Mercado, Norma Buitizon, Carmelita Martinez, Florentina Villalongo and advisers Dr. Anita Sanchez and Lourdes Vilma Lee.
