Crimson revisited

CEBU, Philippines - As I walked the wooden  path in between atriums of greenery, I already felt a deep gasp that held on to my very soul. Right at that very short moment of being there, I said to myself "I like this place already".

The first time I visited this paradise was during the dreary month of November. Back then, I made a personal note that I have to return on a summer day.

So there I was on a sunny summer day, making my way on the walkway which expands into a veranda that allows a magnificent view of the resort's natural expanse. Its focal point is its uniquely designed eternity pool while surrounding the rest of the six-hectare property are the rooms, villas and suites ready to welcome the traveling soul.

Well, access to the beach and pool is easy. But still, on a beautiful summer day, frolicking under the sun might just be a second thought once you find yourself in the comfort of your own private and cozy suite. Well-appointed is an understatement for the suites because an indoor wading pool is its main attraction! Now need you stay outside?

Hmm, I guess food can be your excuse for getting out of bed. After all how can you resist the tempting Asian fares of the Saffron Café? Yes, its main dining facility serves the most exotic Far-Eastern cuisine with its own twist created right in front of you from its open-kitchen. Should you crave for something light, Azure's tapas and grills might just be your flavor. Here, snacks and your favorite cocktails are always served with the vision of ocean and sun.

Finally, back on my first visit, the resort's Aum Spa was not yet in place yet I had the first hand experience of its services. And mind you, it was like no other. This place is where relaxation meets with luxurious rejuvenation. Aum, aum… excuse me, my therapy is just about to begin. See you at Crimson!
