Through the Laki sa Gatas Nutrition Education Advocacy, Venus got the chance to encourage more children here in Cebu, like you, to eat nutritionally rich foods so you will be able to do well in your studies and achieve your ambitions when you grow up.

Venus was raised in a farming community in Camarines Sur. That is in the Bicol Region or Region 5. She used to join beauty contests and oratorical competitions to help her mother earn a living. Such humble beginnings!

Venus is very industrious. She persevered in her studies. She graduated with honors from Bicol University with a degree in Communication Arts major in Journalism.

Hardworking, articulate and determined to succeed, Venus possesses both beauty and brains. This is the optimum combination of physical and mental health that the Laki sa Gatas of Nestlé Philippines is encouraging in all students and pupils.

It was her mom, Esther, who instilled in her the importance of taking in nutritious food including milk. Her mother knows that her daughter’s ability to do better in school required her to be healthy in mind and in body. So, Venus drinks a glass of milk at least twice a day.

Healthy dietary habits that include eating Go, Grow and Glow foods and drinking milk made Venus grow taller and smarter. That’s why she graduated with honors.
