Help heal children's broken smiles

CEBU, Philippines - Last year, thousands of Filipino children submitted designs for Havaianas "Design a Smile," a Havaianas flip-flop design competition for the benefit of Operation Smile, a world-wide, non-government organization that provides reconstructive surgery to indigent children and young adults with cleft lip, cleft palate and other childhood facial deformities. This pair, with the winning design by 12-year-old Meghan Sevilla, will help fund Operation Smile's simultaneous missions in the Philippines for their 30th anniversary in 2012, where they aim to heal 1,500 broken smiles.

This October, in celebration of Smile Month and National Children's Month, Havaianas Smile will be available in all authorized Havaianas retailers in the Philippines. In Cebu, A.L. Amizade Marketing, Inc. is the exclusive sub-distributor of Havaianas in Central and Eastern Visayas. Havaianas Smile is available at Rustan's and All Flip Flops Ayala Center Cebu and SM Northwing.
