Veranda, Take Two

CEBU, Philippines - They say, the second time’s the charm. Not only this rings true for Veranda Cebu but also their second branch at Maria Luisa road has been truly blessed. When you have a decent place for dining and drinking that is truly familiar and at home, you know you would love going for seconds. 

Veranda’s closest friends and the media all paid tribute to the opening of The Veranda Maria Luisa on the first Saturday of September. “The Parkmall branch is more of a restaurant,” says Marketing honcho Charles Osmeña. “The Maria Luisa branch is more of a friendly neighborhood bar.” While Parkmall is more into dining and unwinding, Veranda at the Maria Luisa brings us back to the familiar tastes and tunes we all have grown to love in the place we are already acquainted with since the early 2000s. 

Entertain yourself as The Veranda launches the Play List, a musical collage of all the familiar songs – old and new, on weekdays in Maria Luisa soon while gorging on their bestselling tapas and canapés. 

The Veranda by the Maria Luisa Road is open on Mondays to Thursdays from 6 p.m.– 1 a.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m.– 3 a.m.
