Dinner with Fashion Show

Upcoming big event is the Women and Fashion. From the classical lifestyle and royalty to the contemporary trends, women have adorned themselves with fabulous fashion as delineated in glorious events in history, and showcased in words and music. Sponsors are the Consular Corps and Zonta Club of Cebu on November 17, 2011 to be held at Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, eight in the evening. The show is directed by Dr. Mila Espina. The show is fund raising project of the Consular Group and Zonta Club of Cebu I. The overall coordinators are Consul Armi Garcia for the Consular Group and Stella Bernabe for Zonta Club of Cebu.

The St. Martin de Porres School for Special, Intellectualy Deficient and Hearing Impaired children located at 722 Tres de Abril St. Labangon is in need of donors for the renovation of their building and food. Please dial tel. no. 261 2954. The St. Martin de Porres Special School held an induction of PTA officers at the Portofino Beach in Lapu-Lapu City. Michael Ismael Caballeo, school administrator, was the guest and inducting officer. Inducted were Rudy Daculan, president; Eva Brigaudit, vice president; Carryl Espina, secretary; Ime Talatayod, treasurer; Army Bagtong, auditor; Ma. Ann Montemayor, Anna Marie Coca and Iris Bayalas, PROs; Aida Panugaling and Junrey Gilvoza, sergeants at arm.

Ambassador Frank Benedicto treated some media friends to a luncheon at Café Laguna Garden. It was simple yet fitting to honor his long-time friends in media. The luncheon was indeed a happy gathering. Present were Nelia Neri, Flor Ynclino, Chinggay Utzurrum, Mila Espina, Cookie Newman, Honey Loop, Bobit Avila, Jimmy Picornell, Sam Costanilla, Loy Jurado, Jerry Tundag and yours truly.
