BF Humanitarian Thrust

CEBU, Philippines - The members of Bachelors Femina Club of Cebu are keeping themselves busy with several community projects headed by club presidents Patrick Yared and Jennifer Sarmiento, together with supportive members. They have participated in several gift giving, feeding programs and hospital visitations of the Cebu Medical Indigency Foundation.

Together with the Quota International Club of Cebu, headed by president Pinky Shan, and JCI Cebu – Sinulog Inc. president Marjorie Gelig, they hosted a Medical Mission project in Carcar City last March 2011. They were able to provide dental, optical and medical assistance to over 200 families.

The BF club wants to set a good example for the youth of the city, showing everybody that “though one is blessed, life is not meant to be about self-indulgence and instant gratification. Life should be accepting the responsibility of a purpose much larger than one’s self, by giving back to the world and the community that has graced one with such gratuitous abundance,” expressed by the Femina president.
