CEBU, Philippines - Seven boys and seven girls made it to the top 14 for the Regional Finals of SM Little Stars in SM City Cebu. The kiddie search, now on its fifth year, is giving away over 2.5 million pesos in prizes plus a chance to visit Xiamen, China for the top three winners of the national search.
The 14 finalists are Althea Leanne Aguirre, Lord Anthone Acebedo, Francine Carla Colonia, Klent Alexes Avila, Jheineken Ricadanna Deliarte, Charles Peter Brunt, Klarylle May Dumancas, Joseph Vincent Javelosa, Roma Angelica Hendricks, Mark Noel Medalla, Alexis Jeanelle Jingco, Charles Christian Mellines, Criscile Aubrey Sarabia and John Clark Sotomayor.
The finalists will again compete during the regional search on August 7, 2011, 4pm at the Event Centre of SM City Cebu.
Last May, SM Little Stars 2010 Grand Winner Mareeya Akira Vane Sapia visited China and graced the Grand Finals of the SM Little Stars China in SM City Xiamen. Together with first runner-up Johnny Regana and second runner-up Nicole Morgan, they gave the audience a sample of young Filipino talent.
This cultural exchange program between SM malls in the Philippines and China aims to create a greater understanding between SM Little Stars winners from the two countries.
