Christopher Weds Charmaine

The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral was the setting of the beautiful wedding of Christopher John Consunji and Charmaine Therese Juanillo last June 19. Officiating priests were Bishop John Du, Msgr. Agustin Ancajas and Rev. Fr. Socrates Saldua. Kit is the son of Engr. Jonathan Consunji and Rosalinda Du while Charmaine is the daughter of Dr. Manuel Juanillo and Teresita Juanillo. Charm is a practicing physician while Kit is a registered nurse.

Following the church ceremony, a big dinner reception was held at the grand ballroom of Casino Español de Cebu. What was so touching during the dinner was, when Kit took his mom Linda to the dance floor and heartily dedicated a song “The Last Dance” to his beloved mother. Our hearts stopped for a while…then Kit continued singing and dancing until his mom went back to her seat, tears rolled down her cheeks. After which, Kit danced with his bride and the rest followed.
