Great things to look forward to at J Centre Mall & D' Hub - Davao

I had the chance to take part in the opening of adorable couple, Kelly and Maris Uy's D' Hub in Abreeza Mall, Davao. Held simultaneously with the grand opening of Davao's newest shopping destination, Ayala's Abreeza Mall, we were graciously hosted by the couple with their dynamic team led by Marilyn Pantinople, COO of D'Hub and branch manager Karen Cabonce. Doing the honors of cutting the ribbon were Canon Philippines' President and CEO Allan Ching, Philippine basketball's living legend Ramon "El Presidente" Fernandez and Marco Polo Davao's Art Boncato. Spotted in the event were Cebuano friends Boobi Kintanar, Karla K. Fernandez, Davaoeños Jinggoy Salvador, Osang Sasuman and Robert Fabregas. To Kelly and Maris, congratulations on your new outlet, "D. Hub"! Cheers!

Talking about exciting things to look forward to, I am truly thrilled about the soon-to-open JCentre Mall along A.S. Fortuna Street in Mandaue City. Probably one of the biggest, state-of-the-art mall concepts that Cebuanos can watch out for, the JCentre Mall is the first venture of Everjust Realty Development Corporation, an affiliate of the country's biggest fruit processing company, Profood International Corporation which is headed by "Entrepreneur of the Year" awardee, Justin Uy. Adding "buzz" to its launching, which I heard is slated on the latter part of the year, is the opening of SM affiliate stores SM Hypermart, Ace Hardware and Watsons. Last May 19, in an intimate lunch event at the Feria of Radisson Blu, SM Retail Group President Herbert Sy Jr. inked a deal with Mr. Justin Uy. The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement was witnessed by SM Hypermart's EVP Robert Kwee, JCentre General Contractor Harry Pow and Everjust Corporate Secretary Jerry Uy along with close friends and business associates. Spotted in the event were : Nature Spring's President and CEO Danny Lua, The Spa's Johnny Siao, Herson and Hendrik Sy, JCentre's PR and Marketing Consultant Karla Kintanar-Fernandez with husband Ramon Fernandez, and SM Hypermart executives who flew in from Manila.
