Children of Yesterday's Dream

It was a sunny morning when the University of the Visayas Kindergarten Department celebrated Kinder Day 2011 held at the Inday Pining’s Teatro. The theme was Children of Yesterday’s Dream. Kinder II adviser Lloyd B. Serrano started the program with his opening remarks while Grade School principal Venus Martines Cortes shared her inspirational message. Kinder I adviser Rhizza C. Taladtad cap the event with her closing remarks. The Elementary Department is anchored in excellence, envisioning a fully developed child to be equipped with knowledge, skills and values of love of God, country and family. They offer complete pre-school Kindergarten I and II and Grade School, from Grades I to VI. The Elementary Department has complete facilities of a library, science laboratory, audio-visual room, playground, computer laboratory, chapel and canteen.
