First United Travel opens in Cebu

-

CEBU, Philippines - First United Travel Inc., a trusted travel agency based in Manila for 25 years now, recently opened its Cebu office, located at Unit #118 The QC Pavilion along Gorordo Avenue.

Katherine Macachor-Lupisan, the manager for the Cebu office, shared that the travel agency has long wanted to open an office here.

“Our CEO, Mr. Felicisimo Billones, who is connected with San Miguel Corporation, is from Cebu and opening this office is really a realization of the agency’s plans,” she said.

Among the services that First United Travel will be offering are assistance in obtaining visa & passport, as well as ticketing and hotels for both local and international travelers.

A service that Lupisan wants to highlight is the offering of special tours. “We want First United Travel to be known for special tours. For example, in May, we are coming up with a Photography Tour to Indonesia,” she said.

What is special with these tours, she added, is that these will be all Filipino tours, with a Filipino guide so the travelers will feel at ease during the whole trip. Among the special tours that are already in the planning stages are the culinary tours, “Eat, Pray,Love” kind of tours to Bali and food and wine tours to Tuscany.

“Aside from just attending to the travel needs of our clients, we want to educate people about the benefits of traveling and we want their travels to be a great experience for them. Traveling gives one a different kind of education,” Lupisan said. (FREEMAN)
