Southern Comfort At Kosin

CEBU, Philippines - When in the south, specifically in the Talisay area, and you want to treat yourself to delectable dishes, the best place to go to is Kosin.

Located along the South Road in Linao, Talisay City, Kosin is an al fresco restaurant that serves Chinese and Filipino dishes. The spacious dining area can accommodate up to 80 pax while the patio can accommodate up to 20 pax. Kosin's Jimmy de Leon shared that the restaurant is owned by a group of cousins who wanted to venture into the restaurant business. Among the restaurant's bestsellers since it opened last December 6 are the Kosin Chicken, Pancit Guisado, and the Beef with XO Sauce. Kosin also offers set meals that range from P60 to P80 that consist of rice, iced tea and a choice of chicken, fish or meatballs. The restaurant also sells products that were developed by one of the owners – Nutski (spicy peanuts) and Kawali Chicharon for pulutan as Kosin also serves liquor and cocktails in the evenings.
