Family get-together

Danny and Rudel Batalla's home in Sun Valley, CA. was the setting of a family reunion. Larry and Guia Querubin organized the get-together party, with the assistance of all the younger cousins who have been living in California the past 20 years - Jerry Locaylocay, Gerry and Fiza Du, Jim and Mariel, Fred and Alysha, Rudel and Danny, Felicia, Jeffrey S. Olive and Manny Paule, Loly Casas with this writer.

Games and prizes galore were the order of the day and the children, grandchildren and a great granddaughter were all agog of the surprises, they literally went wild. Dinner had a big lechon and some native delicacies, and Rudel and Danny were just so hospitable to open their home for the wonderful occasion.

Meanwhile, Tom and Alana Bagley had their annual dinner party at their hilltop home in Mission Viejo. This is the second time we've attended their affair. Tom, as usual brought his band ensemble to entertain their guests. As you all know, Tom is lead singer and pianist at a joint called Shout in San Diego, CA. He rendered songs from the Beatles to Journey, all about 100 songs in one night. All of his guests during this affair were truly entertained. Dancing and singing was the agenda for the night. Food was aplenty as Alana usually prepares more than anyone can eat. So, as usual, Alana's friends had "bring house" because Tom and Alana with their two daughters Cat and Whitney were leaving for Colorado the next day.
