Christmas with the Cebu Sandigan Foundation

The Cebu Sandigan Foundation ladies visited the Asilo de la Milagrosa during their charitable mission, bringing gifts to the orphanage and several “Bundles of Joy” to the indigent children, mostly orphans under the care of the nuns. A total of 15 members, led by president Lita Ortiz, came and distributed gifts to the children.

On that same day, the same group trooped to Mother Teresa’s “Gasa sa Gugma” in Mabolo. They donated rice, bed sheets, blankets, towels, laundry supplies and several food stuffs for the hundred or so sickly, aged and dying inmates of the center.

Worthy of mention are the charitable visits of the Sandigan ladies to the Pediatric Wards of the Cebu City Medical Center and of the Vicente Sotto Memorial Hospital on November 26, 2010. They distributed hundreds of packages containing food and other items for the basic needs of the sick children and their parents.

The Ladies of Charity of Asilo Medalla Milagrosa Charitable Mission led by energetic kindhearted president Ms. Anita Cabahug Trasmonte and its active officers and members distributed gifts to the orphans at the Asilo Medalla Milagrosa. The members who joined the activity were Anita Trasmonte, Milagros Borromeo, Jolina Muertigui, Melly Espinili, Venus Jao, Lorna Biaño, Gigi Seno, Elda Verches, Barbara Ouano, Ginny Garate, Inday Palma, Nene Lim, Bettina Unchuan and Martinita Jordana.
