Exodus!

- Joey Cindy M. Semblante -

CEBU, Philippines - “We are not for sale!” This was the strong statement of Ma. Cecilia Flores- Oebanda, president and founder of the Visayan Forum Foundation Inc. (VFFI), during the commemoration of the World Anti Trafficking Day last December.

The war against anti-trafficking was made closer to the public through a night of music and jamming dubbed as Exodus! Rise up against human trafficking! The event was headed by the Movement against Anti-Trafficking Advocates and the VFFI at the USC Cultural Center.

The event served as a wake up call to the youth about how human trafficking can destroy the lives of people, especially children and women. MATA encouraged every individual who attended the event to be aware of the problem and to join the fight against human trafficking. (FREEMAN)
