Farewell To Mactan-Cebu

I cannot ask for anything more – I have been so honored and privileged to be CEO of the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority and GM of Mactan Cebu International Airport for four years and two months. Today I enjoy time with family and friends I have not seen for years and doing many things I have always wanted to do. Of course, all this is temporary as I now go full time with the Aviation Society of the Philippines.

We have gained much from being in Cebu. Arleen and I will always remember the times at work and off work, getting to know many individuals who have become our close friends, brothers and sisters. This article is a tribute to all of them who have been so good to us, shared their time and commitment to our collective goals and dreams. I will not mention their names as they are so distinguished and well known to all.

There are many others who will always be part of Arleen, Carlo and me. My and Arleen's siblings and their children have enjoyed Cebu's people, places and ideas.

As I have turned over Command and Administration of a great Airport and Organization last October 29, I will always pray for Cebu and the Airport's continuing development to be the best they could ever be.

I will continue to write and pray about our common dreams for better tomorrows…and always…
