Business and pleasure at diamond suites

CEBU, Philippines - Local travelers who are in Cebu for business or pleasure now have the option to stay in a business hotel located right at the heart of the city’s business district. Diamond Suites and Residences is a 4-star hotel and condotel located just right beside the Cebu Business Park.

Diamond Suites and Residences is a homegrown brand owned by Cebuano entrepreneurs Mario Lua of Kimwa Construction and Rey Manigsaca of Apple Tree Suites.

General Manager Ann Olalo said the hotel is strategic for business travelers because it is very near the Cebu Business Park, which houses the Ayala Center Cebu and other establishments.

The hotel has 102 Standard and Deluxe rooms, as well as 27 condominiums for those who will be staying in the city for a longer period. It has three function rooms, the biggest of which can accommodate up to 120 persons, and two boardrooms. The hotel also has a swimming pool, a mini gym, a restaurant and an al fresco bar.

“Our rates are really affordable, especially for local travelers,” Olalo said.

Diamond Suites also offers Buffet Nights every Friday and Saturday, featuring Mediterranean and Mexican dishes. (FREEMAN)
