Fuji Xerox launches compact, eco-friendly and affordable sled printers

CEBU, Philippines - Fuji Xerox Printer Channel recently launched its new DocuPrint series of A4 Self-Scanning Light-Emitting Diode or SLED printers. The printers range from single function to multifunction printers and are one of the industry’s smallest and lightest models.

Vincent Sim, ASEAN General Manager for Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and Fuji Xerox Printer Channel said the new DocuPrint series is designed to meet the demands of home users, Small Office Home Offices or SOHOs, as well as Small and Medium-sized Businesses.

The DocuPrint series uses Fuji Xerox’s award-winning SLED technology, which was only previously available in high-end office machines. These printers with the SLED technology are dubbed the “printers of the future”, which allows compactness without compromising the reliability and print quality.

Fuji Xerox also launched the first-ever pink laser printer in the market. Sim said the creation of the printer was the result of numerous surveys and researches that revealed the increasing IT-savvy female market. For example, a 2009 study revealed that more and more Filipino women are becoming entrepreneurs.

As part of its new product line-up, Fuji Xerox also introduced its proprietary EA-Eco toner, which, when used with the printers, offers significant energy saving and environmental benefits. During the manufacturing process of these toners, carbon dioxide emission can be reduced by more than 35 percent while the actual use of the toners reduces carbon dioxide emission by 25 percent.

For the first time in the market, Fuji Xerox also introduced a 1+2 years warranty for the new printers. For the initial one year, customers will enjoy a one year standard warranty wherein spare parts and labor are covered. For the next two years, customers will only pay for labor costs while the company will cover all spare parts. Fuji Xerox also guarantees a one-hour service time.
