Gerry's grill to open at Marina Bay sands, Singapore

CEBU, Philippines - Gerry’s Grill proudly announces the opening of its new branch at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel on December 1, 2010.

Dubbed “Pinoy Original” Gerry’s was handpicked by executives of Koufu, a food conglomerate which operates several food courts in major lifestyle destinations in Singapore.

The Filipino restaurant is among 26 food chains chosen from around the globe which will operate at Koufu’s new venture renamed “Rasapura Masters” located at Basement 2 of the Shoppes of Marina Bay Sands Hotel.  

“Rasapura is the premier food destination because it is where you will find the finest food masters who are dedicated to serve you meals that are truly and impeccably Singaporean and Asian. We take pride in becoming part of this rare opportunity,” says Meggie Bolinao-Jose, marketing director of Gerry’s Grill.

Marina Bay Sands sits at the height of opulence with over 2500 rooms & suites, state-of-the-art convention and exhibition facilities, theaters, world-class casino, and entertainment. It also boasts of the best shopping and dining in the Asian region.

The opening of the Filipino restaurant chain hopes to captivate not only Filipino OFWs who crave for Pinoy classics but also international guests with discerning palates.

Gerry’ Grill will have three Filipino personnel – the store manager, head cook and senior cook- who will be serve guests at the swanky hotel/resort, with bestsellers such as Crispy Pata, Sisig and Kare-Kare.

Singapore is the second destination of Gerry’s Grill overseas. Their two branches in the U.S. are not only favorite dine-in destinations of Fil-Ams but foreign guests who enjoy Gerry’s menu; along with a hefty serving of unique Pinoy hospitality. “We hope to duplicate the same success in Singapore,” adds Jose.

Gerry’s Grill currently has a 43-branch network nationwide; with two in Cebu – SM and Ayala Center. It has recently opened a branch at Station 1 Mitos Place (near Astoria) in Boracay.
