Grecian Party @ Golden Prince

CEBU, Philippines - The glory that was Greece! Demigods of Golden Prince Hotel and Suites toast to four years of operational efficiency during its recent Grecian-themed party.

Amelia Que, Board treasurer, recognizes the influence of ancient Greece in the shaping of Golden Prince’s corporate philosophy and best minds that have been living up to standards of the hospitality industry.

“We find opportunities to improve and learn in every encounter with guests, banking on people both front and back offices,” she said as she credits the influence of Greek thinking in the system of governance Golden Prince is adopting, in the democratic exchanges during boardroom meetings, with emphasis on teamwork that breaks the borders of superiority or hierarchy.

Among the team leaders recognized during the anniversary are Nerea Mendaros - operations manager/goddess of hospitality; Maribeth Oño - HRDM recruitment and training/goddess of counseling; Mary Ann Deiparine – HRDM admin specialist/goddess of rule and control; Chef Camilo Lopez – head chef/god of abundance; Mercy Malinao - finance head/goddess of wealth; Engr. Bernard Balmores – chief engineer/god of light and metals; Joanne Wee - front office in charge/goddess of reception.

As for Golden Valley Hotel, the team leaders awarded are Joselito Monacillo - operations in charge/god of accommodations; Debbie Ecliza - front office leader/goddess of dwelling; Bebe Veloso – housekeeping supervisor/goddess of immaculate care; Iris May Quingco – accounting leader/goddess of numbers and figures; Meliton Escarpe – dining and banquet supervisor/god of festivals; and Chef Jerry Calumba – production shift head/god of yield.
