Preserve memories with Eye Ronick Photo Studio

- Quennie S. Bronce -

CEBU, Philippines - A group of friends who share a hobby of taking photos decided to make a business out of what they enjoy doing and put up Eye Ronick Photo Studio.

Located at Door 6 & 7 JDY Bldg. Maximo Patalingjug Ave. corner Humay-humay Street, Lapu-Lapu City, Eye Ronick was established in November 2009 by friends Ricky B. Monterona, Ronald B. Caracena, Jonathan C. Calinawan and Maxwell John P. Bongo.

Monterona shared that the four of them, along with other friends who are into photography would often gather just to talk about their craft.

“It was then that we decided to make our hobby a business,” he said, adding that they decided on the name EYE RONICK, because they want to take “ironical” shots that would really stand out.

The photo studio offers photo and video services for weddings, corporate events, advertising, product shots, fashion and glamour, debuts and birthdays and portraiture at affordable rates. They also print T-shirts, calling cards, tarpaulin and invitation cards.

“Memories are best preserved through photographs and the Eye Ronick team wants to be a part of these memorable events by giving the best quality photo services,” Monterona said.

The four friends have different specializations when it comes to photography. Monterona is into travel, Caracena is into fashion, Calinawan who used to work with Kodak Imagecenter for 14 years specializes in portraiture and product shots, while Bongo, who is also the team’s visual artist and editor, is into portraiture.
