Local bloggers join the Global Celebration of blogger.com's 11th Anniversary

CEBU, Philippines - Bloggers from Cebu and all over the world celebrated Blogger.com’s 11th anniversary last August 31 with “Blogger Fiesta.”

Blogger.com is a free blog publishing tool from Google for easily sharing your thoughts with the world. They have had anniversaries before but this year, they held their first ever Blogger global birthday party!

The local celebration here in Cebu was held in a coffee shop at the Asia Town IT Park. The celebration was simple but bloggers who attended it had fun. Aside from meeting fellow bloggers, the event served as a venue to network with fellow bloggers, get tips and learn from those who have been writing and blogging for years.

The event was also graced by bloggers from Manila and other countries. The visitors were from Global Xchange (GX), a volunteer exchange program which gives young people from the Philippines and UK a chance to work together to develop and share valuable skills to make a practical contribution where it is needed in local communities.
