Daughters of Mary Immaculate Convention

In celebration of the 17th Biennial Convention of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate International, the Archdiocese of Zamboanga and Prelature of Isabela de Basilan hosted the DMII 17th Biennial Convention held at the Astoria Regency in Zamboanga City.

The theme was “Serve with Love, Faith, Charity and Integrity for the Spiritual Well-being and Peace of our Lord.” Archbishop Orlando Quevado, D.D., Bishop Romulo Valles, D.D. of Zamboanga City, Bishop Martin Jumoad, D.D. of Prelature of Isabela de Basilan, Fr. Jerome Cruz, DMII vice chaplain and Fr. Moises Cuevas of DMII spiritual director led the Eucharistic celebration.

The Academy for International Culinary Arts’ first branch outside Manila was formally opened in Cebu. The owners are Michael Moreno Tiaogui and Chef Johanna Chiongbian Young. Chef Nikko Mabugat is the school director. The academy offers a wide array of choices for various specializations to cater culinary preferences.
