Campaigns Cebu Wins International Creative Awards
CEBU, Philippines - Following a string of accomplishments, Campaigns Cebu becomes the 1st Cebu-based advertising agency to win an international creative award. Last April 30, 2010 at the Summit International Awards in Portland, Oregon USA, Campaigns Cebu garnered Gold and Silver trophies in the TV Ad Category among the thousands of submissions from 24 countries. The Summit International Awards Organization (SIA) organizes the competition every year to recognize creative excellence in the advertising world.
Topping other entries from other agencies were Campaigns Cebu’s entries in the Public Service Announcement TV ad category. The Dept of Education/Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) “Patience” 30-second TV ad won a Gold award. Getting a silver award in the same category, also for DepEd/CCCI, is a 60-second TVC entitled “Preparedness”.
This year’s international panel of judges included professionals from Ogilvy B2; Saatchi & Saatchi; Stellar Debris; MCN Interpublic Group; Elevator; Pixel & Co. Creative Marketing; Paragon Marketing Communications; RT Strategic; CMI Web Studio; E-cubed.com Media Synthesis Inc.; Brad; and MFX Inc.
Over the past 16 years, the Summit International Awards Organization (SIA) has established itself as one of the premier arbiters of creative greatness. Being recognized by the SIA gives the agency prestige and value.
These international creative awards and the national awards Campaigns Cebu won for Julie’s Bakeshop and Electrolux are a testament to the agency’s creative strength and #1 position in the VisMin area.
