Fashionable undies

CEBU, Philippines - Vanita, the latest lingerie and swimwear fashion brand in the Philippines was recently launched in Cebu during a Buyers Fashion Show at the upscale deli restaurant The Tinder Box.

Head turner Aziza Mondoñedo, herself a style setter and incidentally the exclusive distributor of Vanita in Cebu hosted the intimate gathering that had the island’s fashionable women in attendance.  

Italian designer Fabiola Marin of the world- renowned Intimissi Group and a a graduate of the Instituto Marangani Fashion and Design School in Milan, created the exclusive designs specifically and especially for the Filipina woman.

While the collection is contemporary, the designs are akin to both classical and modern and its unique imprint achieves balance between elegance and simplicity.

The evening’s presentation featured statuesque models from the Models Association of Cebu who walked the short runway wearing sultry teddies, camisoles, babybolls, and eye catching swimsuits accented by fabulous accessories that included dazzling necklaces, brooches, bracelets and earrings by Dianne Espera. 

The fashion fiesta of lingeries and swimsuits are made from fabrics of opaque knits, intricate laces andselect tulle in shades of indigo, cobalt lavender, tone-on-tone colors with hues of pink, red and burgundy and are tailored in a variety of cuts, types, subtle lines and style. 

The launch party was attended by Cebu’s beautiful social set such as Rosebud Sala, Teresin Mendezona, Marguerite Lhuillier, Mayen Tan, Iris Arcenas, Lani Osmeña, Karen Woolbright, Bea Villegas, Elvira Luym, Marissa Fernan, Grace Lozada and Agnes Huettel.

Kaye Luym and Cybill Gayatin of the A-List Events PR and Advertising were also around to ensure that the evening was enjoyable and entertaining.

Vanita’s fine line of lingerie and swimwear will surely indulge the sexuality of today’s woman. ?
