Capture Summer

It's the season to enjoy the great outdoors and have fun in the sun. What better way to treasure your summer affairs than carrying with you your trusted gadgets that'll surely capture every bit of fun? Gadget giant, Sony recently released its summer collection that allows techies to share summer adventures and misadventures to the world.

Blogger's Bloggie

This is a video blogger's new toy – the Bloggie. Sounds hip, eh? It really is. Bloggie almost looks like a Cybershot camera but is a lot bigger in size. It comes in white, pink, dark violet and blue green. It captures in full high definition quality (1920x1080p) with a 270 degrees swivel lens/rotating screen and to top it all: a 360 degrees view video recording lens accessory. It allows the user to quickly transfer files into a laptop/computer and blog away in Facebook and YouTube through its built-in USB connector and PMB Software. More so, one can capture 5 megapixel still photos with Bloggie, which comes with a 4 gig memory stick.

Cyber-shots Hit the Spot  

The following Cyber-shot line has touch screens, at 10.2 megapixel shots, 4x optical zoom, 10 frames per second shooting capable, Exmor R CMOS Sensor and has 4 gig memory card:

DSC-TX7 Cyber-shot is by far Sony's slimmest camera that can be easily stashed in your denim pocket. It's armed with a 3 inch-wide touch screen, full HD video recording tool and the highlight: Intelligent Sweep Panorama feature with face and motion detection ideal for landscape and beach sceneries.

DSC-TX5 Cyber-shot is a beach bum's pill. It's the slimmest waterproof camera that can function up to 3 meters deep for a maximum of 1 hour. This sturdy gizmo is temperature-proof, dust-proof and shock-proof, as well and also carries with it the Intelligent Sweep Panorama feature.

Lastly, the DSC-TX1 basically carries the same feature with the two but solely possess the Handheld Twilight feature, capturing party night shots not in blurs no more.

DSLR

To complement the current photography boom, Sony launched its newest DSLR Alpha camera, the DSLR-A900 at 24.6 megapixels Full-Frame Exmor CMOS Sensor, 3-inch LCD, among others. Choose from their wide array of Alpha DSLRs that suit your needs.

Party Photographer

It's your time to shine! After doing all the paparazzi roles with these cameras, let the Party-shot do the thing for you as you lounge with your friends and get into the picture. This automatic photographer works through its Face Detection and Smile Shutter technologies, candid or not. Party-shot is compatible with your digital cameras. It can rotate up to 360 degrees.

Photo Slide Show

Now it's time to view the photos and brag! The DPP-F700 is Sony's latest printer and digital photo frame all rolled into one. It displays the captured shots during a slide show and prints out quality copies when desired.

Go for the Vaio

Vaio's newest, the X Series, boasts of slimmer, thinner and lightweight characteristics – around 13.9 mm thin, 655 grams (for X127) and 760 grams (for X113) – and extremely works up to 16 hours.
