A Roaring Night!

CEBU, Philippines - A successful year for a company certainly calls for a good celebration. It marks a new beginning towards more achievements in the future.

On the night of Feb 26, the Grand Ballroom of Marriott Hotel Cebu was a spectacle of the color red, as General Milling Corporation (GMC) celebrated its Dealers’ Appreciation Night. The theme for the evening was to “Roar with GMC” in welcoming the Year of the Tiger! The customers, dealers, and business partners of GMC, from all over the country filled the room to celebrate this one special evening with the GMC family.

The event started with local dragon dancers and Wushu experts gracing the stage with their vibrant dance routine. As the night progressed, the dealers were treated to a private concert by Mr. Richard Poon. The charming jazz singer dazzled the crowd with his rendition of timeless classics. Two famous stand-up comedians were also flown here to Cebu to liven up the atmosphere of the event namely Ogie Diaz and Chocoleit. The crowd had a roaring fun time as the two comedians filled the room with fun and laughter.

Major awards, raffle prizes and tokens of appreciation were handed out that night to outstanding dealers who made 2009 a wonderful and successful year for GMC.

The special night was organized to perfection by the GMC Sales team led by Mr. Albert T. Tan and Ms. Sola Joyce Q.Mantua. “GMC is very thankful to our wonderful dealers and their performance serves as inspiration to us to do even better in the year of the tiger” adds Mr. Tan.
